Parents or Guardians,
All medication kept at school must be picked up by the last instructional day of school: Thursday, May 23rd, 2024. Someone will be available in the health office from 7:45 am - 5 pm that day to accommodate working families. Any family coming after 3:30 please use the breezeway doors # 2.
Medications will need to be picked up by a parent/guardian or an adult, age 18 and over who is on the student’s emergency contact list in Harmony, or an individual designated in writing/verbally by the student’s parent. If you are unsure of what medication(s) need to be picked up, please contact the School Nurse.
Students are not permitted to transport medications home, unless they have a doctor’s statement to carry their medications while at school. Any medication remaining at school after 5 pm on the last student day will be properly disposed of by the School Nurse and Resource Officer. This includes all prescription and non-prescription medications, inhalers, and Epinephrine pens. If you are unable to pick up medication by the last day of school, please contact the School Nurse prior to the end of the school year. Thank you for your cooperation.
Best of luck to the Lady Titans Softball Team as they compete for a Sectional 56 Championship tonight against Union City right here at Tri High School. Show up and be loud and proud to support our girls. Go Titans!
South Henry School Corporation's social media pages were created to push out important information to the Titan family and to lift up and celebrate the awesome work of our students and staff. While we try hard to be super heroes for children daily, we still haven't quite figured out the art of being in three places at once. For this reason, if you ever have an incredible accomplishment that may be worthy of celebrating, please feel free to email them to the below contacts and we will do our best to post, if appropriate.

We are a few days late in posting, but this is far too good to let pass! Congratulations to Titan Senior Tyler Brooks for hitting for the CYCLE this past week against Purdue Broad Ripple. This means that Tyler recorded a single, double, triple, and home run in the same game. According to the Society for American Baseball Research, this rarity has only occurred in 0.149% of major league baseball games all time. What an incredible feat!
Congratulations, Tyler! We are proud of you!

Just about a month has passed since a normal school day turned into something much different for one of Tri Elementary School's wonderful students, Easton. On April 17th, 2024, a simple game of tag, no different than what occurs on any given school day, turned into a potentially life-threatening situation due to a freak accident. Though upon first glance the injury did not appear to be serious, teacher Mrs. Solomon kept close watch on Easton and made the life-saving decision to send him into the nurse for further assessment. Upon arrival, Mrs. Shelby Hall trusted her judgment and made yet again another life-saving decision to call 911.
It is frequently stated that “every moment matters, and in this case, every moment truly did matter more than anyone may have realized in the moment. Because of the swift actions taken by Mrs. Hall and Mrs. Solomon, Easton is now on the road to recovery.
At Tuesday night's Board meeting, school nurse Shelby Hall and teacher Alyssa Solomon were honored for their quick acts that ultimately may have saved the Easton's life. Surrounded by their own family and friends, and the family of the student, Mrs. Hall and Mrs. Solomon received "You Make a Difference" Challenge Coins. Additionally, Easton's family donated a weeping cherry tree, now planted outside the nurses office, in honor of their swift and heroic acts.
The following statement from the Easton's family was read at the meeting:
"We would like to express our gratitude to Mrs. Solomon and Mrs. Hall. We cannot thank you enough for the awareness and quick action you both took that day. Both of you played a huge part in saving Easton's life and we will never be able to repay you for that. We wanted to do something for both of you. We purchased a weeping cherry tree to plant here at Tri in honor of you. Every time you see it please remember how wonderful you are and how thankful we are for you. Also, thank you to Mrs. Emily Hamm, Mr. Duncan and the entire staff at Tri Elementary for all of the thoughts, prayers, gifts and cards for Easton. We would also like to thank Abby Davis and her crew for being so wonderful working with us to get the tree planted. We are truly blessed our kids are Titans."
We are so grateful for Mrs. Hall and Mrs. Solomon for trusting their instincts. Additionally, we will forever be grateful that a day that started like many others, turned into a day to celebrate our blessings rather than something much different.
It was a special night on the Titan softball diamond as our awesome seniors were honored. Also, retiring Athletic Director and longtime coach, Mr. Peggs, threw out the first pitch surrounded by family, friends, and former players. Thank you for being you, Mr. Peggs. You will be dearly missed!
There was so much to celebrate at tonight's Evening of the Stars, where our academic teams, drama club, and speech team were recognized for all of their accomplishments and hard work throughout the school year. From a state championship team, to top 10 performances, to individual recognitions, it was a wonderful evening celebrating our students success. A big thank you to all of our coaches and sponsors for their time and dedication to our students academic success and for putting on an amazing event for students and their families.
