Instead of sleeping in on an elearning day, dedicated Titans met at the school Thursday morning to attend IU East Nurses Day and tour the Reid Health School of Radiologic Technology. Shown here is the training simulator used to create real experiences for nursing students at IU East controlled by the instructors of the University. Following the introduction to the opportunities in nursing, our students toured campus, shared questions with a board of nursing students and enjoyed a lunch at IU East. Later we toured Reid Health Radiologic Technology School. Shown here Titans had the opportunity to position their "patients" to obtain cervical spine radiographs with technicians in training.

Students from Tri Sr. High School attended Education Day at IU East last Wednesday. Future educators had the opportunity to explore education as a career path, tour the campus and hear admissions requirements of the university. Shown here is a one handed, partner chain build and an experimental egg drop. These experiments are some of the training that college students practice for hands-on learning experiences in the classroom. Are you looking for an Indiana University degree closer to home? IU East may be a good fit for you! Great things are happening at South Henry!
