Educational leaders of the South Henry School Corporation have worked hard the past few years to craft our Portrait of a Graduate. This "Portrait" is a picture of what we strive to see in our graduates when they finish their time with us and launch into employment, enlistment, or enrollment. This document and our Corporation vision of helping students find their "Path to Purpose" guides everything that we do. While this document is ever-evolving, we hope that it provides a picture of what an incredible South Henry graduate looks like.

We have prepared a student activity pack for each elementary student in light of the upcoming total solar eclipse to take place on Monday, April 8th. As a reminder, students will not attend school this day, nor will they participate in e-learning. This unique astronomical event provides an excellent opportunity for families to engage in fun and educational activities together.
The student activity pack includes a variety of eclipse themed activities, suitable for children of all ages. These activities are designed to enhance understanding of solar, eclipses and promote curiosity about the wonders of our universe. Whether your child is a budding astronomer, or simply curious about the world around them, there is something for everyone to enjoy. While Participation, and the take-home packet is optional, we encourage families to take advantage of this opportunity to learn and explore together.
In addition, we would like to remind you that as part of the eclipse themed activities, we will be providing a few treats for Student to enjoy. Each student is receiving a moon-pie and sun chips. However, it's important to note that these snacks are manufactured in a facility that processes peanuts. We ask that you please review the food contents, and consider any allergies or dietary restrictions your child may have.
Thank you for your continued support and involvement in your child's education. We hope you have an enjoyable day of learning with your child!

We hate to be the bearers of bad news and no, it is not yet April Fools Day. We have received notice that St. Rd. 103 in Lewisville will be closed from Market Street to Hwy 40 beginning on or after April 9th, 2024. Bus drivers will communicate with affected families about possible changes to pick-up locations and times. We thank you for the patience and grace that the Titan family has shown as we have worked through multiple road construction concerns that are outside of our control this year. Go Titans!

Tri Elementary School is holding Kindergarten Round-Up to determine the number of children who will be in our Kindergarten this coming fall. Elijah Wright competed in the Ball State PBS Regional Spelling Bee held at Sursa Performance Hall at Ball State University on Saturday, March 9th. Elijah finished in the top 10 spellers representing roughly 40 schools in Delaware, Blackford, Jay, Randolph, Madison, and Henry counties. He was honored by our School Board at their meeting on Tuesday.

Last night, the South Henry School Corporation Board of School Trustees formally named Mr. Todd Lunsford the Interim Principal at Tri Jr. Sr. High School. Mr. Lunsford has most recently served as the K-12 Assistant Principal of Teaching and Learning here at South Henry. A graduate of New Castle Community High School, Mr. Lunsford has previously served as a school administrator in the Liberty Perry School District and at Dayton Christian Middle School.
Mr. Lunsford will be the "point person" for 6-12 needs. He can be reached at tlunsford@shenry.k12.in.us.

📣 We are so elated to announce that Tri elementary school donated $5,766.95 to the kids heart challenge! Thank you to every one who donated to the cause. All of the students who are in the picture are the students who completed the challenge and had the top donations. Also, thank you to Mrs. Cummings for all of her hard work and dedication for continuing this tradition at TES. 👏🏻

TES wants to thank our middle school students for sharing their career projects with our elementary school students! Our students went on a "career cruise" where they were able to stop and ask questions to learn about future career paths. There were so many to read about! Way to go, Titans! This was an incredible experience!
